How would you upcycle these trays?
Scored several of these at a thrift store. I like to make hanging signs from trays and chalkboards. Any ideas on what to do with these?

These appear to be "vintage" =- have you thought about just leaning them up against the back of your counter? Or cover center with a doily and adding a tea set, or come plants, then using it on a table.
If you want chalkboards, spray with chalk board spray paint!!
Paint the insides out with chalkboard paint and use them in the kitchen as menu boards, to do list boards, or in the bathroom to add a smile to somebody’s day....with great sayings!!
What a find, I think I would leave "as is". You could probably sell for a tidy profit on marketplace and buy some cheaper since they look vintage. But if you want to upcycle, you can scuff with fine steel wool then clean with denatured alcohol. Then you will be ready to prime & paint. Spray paint would be your best bet. Make sure the paint is formulated for metal.
I inherited a tray like this from my Aunt. I left as is and use it for TV Remote(s). Very charming.
these are period specific and a great addition to certain decors. Don't do anything to them.
I just upcycled mine https://www.hometalk.com/diy/decorate/serving-tray-makeover-from-rags-to-riches-43421733
Serving Tray Makeover -“From Rags to Riches”
Those are great! I would paint them and stencil on an image of some kind! Great find. (They are also awesome the way they are.)
I love those trays. They are so cute. You could hang them on the wall and use as mini vision boards. Just add quotes and anything that inspires you with magnets. You could hang them up as art. I love the colors, but I might paint over a few of the flowers with a hot pink.
Here is how I recently redid my serving tray!

I think they are beautiful, I have one vintage tray. I use it as a piece of my living room decor, and it's a big conversation piece. If you wanted to sell you would be surprised what you could get for them. They look to be in excellent shape.
Don't touch it! Hang them on a wall!
I collect these and love using as shelves on table tops too, bookshelves for accent decor!
