Hey Jil! There are many ways you can repel mosquitoes! I like to be natural with my body care products since our skin is our largest organ and anything applied to the skin is absorbed into the blood stream! One of the best ways to keep mosquitoes at bay is of course to clean up any standing water, in old pots, clogged rain gutters, etc. Then if you have a pond, we stock ours with minnows because they eat mosquitoes and their eggs! You can also plant plants like catnip around your porch or patio where you sit, catnip plants are one of the best mosquito repellents! And then of course, I will make me a blend of essential oils to spray on us when we go outside! It includes equal parts of lemongrass, lavender, eucalyptus, cedar wood, and rosemary! I use about 20 drops of each in a 4 ounce spray bottle mixed with about 2 tablespoons witch hazel, 2 tablespoons vodka or everclear and fill the rest of the bottle with water. Shake it well before use! We have horrific mosquitoes in South Texas and this works wonders for us! Hope it helps!
