DIY Budget Friendly and Simple Fall Pumpkin Decor With Farmhouse Style
I am starting to work on my fall decor and
I wanted to make something new to go with my Fall decor
that had a little Farmhouse style to it.
Most of my fall decor is in the traditional fall colors (oranges and so on) and I really want to incorporate some white, and lighter colors. I feel like they have a little more of a farmhouse feel to them and I
am loving all the pretty lighter colors they have available right now.
For this project I used a simple 8" x 10" picture Frame, and placed some decorative scrapbook paper in it for my background.
I chose to use black and white buffalo check for my background.
Then using some paint, I painted a simple pumpkin shape onto the glass.
I used mostly white, with a tiny hint of orange as well as black.
I am loving how this turned out.
Such a simple project and it goes so well with my decor as I do use buffalo check in other area's of our home.
(I made a short video to go along with this post so you can see a little better of how I painted the pumpkin)
Budget Friendly, only took a few minutes to make, and so cute.. love those kinds of projects!
Another good thing about this project.. after the fall decorating season is over I could actually scrub the paint off and paint something for Christmas if I want to: a Christmas Tree, or Nativity.. or I could simply revert it back to using it as a picture frame.
However, I will probably leave it the way it is.
