WHAT I WOULD TRY IS DRILLING LITTLE HOLES ALL AROUND THE LIGHT & THEY SELL PACKS OF CRYSTALS IN MENARDS & SUCH. ALSO IF YOU’RE A THRIFT STORE JUNKIE OR FLEA MARKETER YOU CAN ALSO GET OLDER CHANDLIERS & TAKE APART TO USE PARTS & YOU CAN USUALLY DO THIS FOR VERY LITTLE MONEY... WITH A FEW TOOLS & SOME PAINT YOU WILL BE SURPRISED AT WHAT YOU CAN DO!!! HAVE FUN🌹
I like the oil rubbed bronze fixtures. Take it down, clean it and get some quality spray paint to paint over the gold. (the 1990 called they want their light fixture back) Get the copper craft paint from a craft store and a sponge brush. Ever so gently load the brush sparingly and pat it until it is almost dry. Then apply the copper to the edges to give it the oil rubbed bronze effect. Or ... just go buy a new one at a home improvement store.

If you are replacing it a chandelier would be nice or a pendant light
