Dolls Cot Upcycle
My daughter decided that she would like to play with her dolls again. But when we dragged the cot back out, it was in a bit of a sorry state so we decided it needed a makeover. Check out how I gave it a fresh new and updated look.
This was the cot. Grey and baby pink. It was covered in pen scribbles and stickers
So I grabbed some paint and brush and got to work. I painted the full frame work except the door. I used Dulux white mist and a tester of Kygo from B&Q
For the door I used a wallpaper sample from I love wallpaper. This was a little tricky. I used double sided tape and wrapped the door almost like a parcel. I had taken the handle off and then when I was done I screwed it back on by making a wee hole for the screw for the handle
This is the finished cot. I got 2 baskets from poundstretcher and they were 69p each
I now love it again. And it sits proudly in her bedroom

Very lovely. It was cute but outdated. Now it's more "grown up". Love the wallpaper idea.
