Nita: maybe this will help
Hello Nita, hope this link helps you
It would be helpful to see a pic of your house. LOts of things go into curb appeal. For instance my house is the first on our street but because the people nest door (whose house faces the main street) have lots of bushes/small trees etc. it is not possible to view our house till you are upon it. That somewhat limits a grand approach sort of design. My sister lives in a small cul de sac so her house is limited in people who see it. Another sister has a garage that is under her main living area so that limits the front of the house to be seen. Our street has a row of houses that are (or were) identical, they have no porches, so that is a limitation. (but very interesting to see the differences in these houses that have evolved over time. Basically you want something that is large enough to be seen from street, attractive and appealing colors, some contrast in the colors, nice landscaping. You want to emphasize what ever architectural appeal your house has, and keep the front well groomed with a swept walk/porch etc.
Could you share a picture of the front of your house?
a picture or two would help! Otherwise. Colour home walls or windows. Shutters,
Window Boxes, Neat and tidy garden. Welcoming colour to the door. Flowering plants . No obvious need for repairs. Yellow is a good colour if you wish to sell!
