Bar keepers friend is the best in my opinion. Using 0000 steel wool, apply bar keepers friend and scrub away. Rinse with water
Ketchup usually works!
Brasso always does the trick! :)
Lemon and Baking Soda Polish
Brasso or ketchup are the "go to's".
I have a brass bed and I never have to clean it because just throwing the bed clothes down before making, must "dust" the bed! The headboard is swathed in the bed curtains. But I would use a cleaner just for brass, rather than something made for another purpose. I would also for an item not displayed too often put in a cabinet to protect from discoloring. You could also have a lacquer coating put on them to prevent future tarnishing.
Ketchup is always my go to ♥
