How can I decorate building exteriors cost-efficiently?

We were thinking of putting a brick backsplash out of doors for decor on a shed or garage part way up, i.e. some come in sizes 2 feet long by 10 inches tall in bundles of 5. If a person stacked them vertically it would be 50 inches high by 2 feet long and extend it around the bottom of a shed and the garage. Has anyone ever used it? (much cheaper than decor with outdoor panels).

What is the brick backsplash made of? I would be concerned that it is not weatherproof and disintegrate in the elements. Heat, cold, sun, wind weather things rather quickly.
Most of them you can, but installation is different . Can you provide more specifications of that brick?
if it is thin brick or even fake brick I don't think it would hold up outside. I would take a piece of it to Home Depot type store and ask them

I would take a trip to the store and look at exterior materials. You may find something that is weatherproof and within budget.

If you want it for the look, why not paint it? Using outdoor paint, you could do it inexpensively and get the exact look that you want. Here's where another Hometalk member asked a similar question and the painting process is explained. Wishing you the best.
