Hi Emily! This one is by far my favorite one! I gave an outdated chest of drawers a makeover!
Our counter top redo was the one that made the biggest difference to our home.

My bathroom counter top makeover might not have been the biggest but the outcome was the most impressive. But to be fair I also painted the walls and cabinets also.
finishing our basement from sheet rock to a full bathroom, and tile floors
Wood storage for an fireplace using cinder-blocks, basic and simple.
This is a wonderful question. My favorite large scale diy was a complete hall bathroom gut and remodel.
This was my favorite makeover:

Hi Emily - It might be because it was so recent, but I love how difficult it looks to make these holiday gnomes but they were sooo easy to make and turned out super stinkin cute.
This step-by-step tutorial (with photos) uses upcycled pill bottles and it only takes about 10 minutes. Hope this helps and Happy Holidays! Hugs, Holly

I love this question Emily! My favorite and probably most successful project are these DIY Sharpie Painted tile coasters I made as an experiment for part of a larger project. They are SO fun and easy to make.

I have done a lot of DIY projects, not so extensive as remodeling a whole space but working on spaces and crafts etc. I decided to choose this one as I think I "invented" it. It is a photo border done with photographs of my grandchildren. For this project I took photos (old and recent. . . didn't matter) I cut the actual photos out and then arranged them so that they looked appropriate. I did this on paper but kept the photos within the border size I wanted. Next took these papers to UPS and had them printed. (that made the image integrated into the paper) laid out design. Next glued it to the large frame I had. Here is the entire border in place. This is a very small area, although frequently used.
