You can use a small amount of water with saddle soap for stains and then use leather conditioner once it dries
Saddle soap and leather conditioner. If your grocery stores do not carry, try your hardware or home improvement center. Or a proper tack shop.
I used a magic eraser to clean my beige leather sofa ... It was a soft grainy textured leather , not the smooth shiny kind . I would just test it in a small area on the back or unseen area to check to see if it is color safe ! Good luck !
