Hi ! I did a lot of research before I painted my cabinets and countertops . I picked advance paint ( and primer ) by Benjamin Moore . This paint is a hybrid paint that washes off hands and brushes with soap and water , but dries hard like an enamel . I did this 3 years ago and it has held up GREAT !!! Whichever coating system you use, take your time and clean them very well and repair any delamination or chips before cleaning.
Follow the directions to a T, as getting paint to stick on plastic in the high-wear kitchen arena, is worth taking your time.
