Have you tried the glass etching product & stencils? It would depend on what you want done.
you could cut some plywood or wood moulding, make a frame of paper mache, use your creativity to think up something unique with what you've got.

Another idea I have seen done is to coil rope around the mirror, it gives a nautical theme or a beach type feel.
Glass etching with vinyl stencils and etching paste is an idea.
