How can I upcycle an old dresser into a TV stand?
Looking for an upcycle of old dresser.....bottom drawers were removed and replaced with baskets. Dresser was sanded and painted red. Think it was used for a media/TV stand or wall table. Hope this is ok to ask in this forum.

Sounds great. You can remove the top drawer to make a shelf for your tv components. Drill a hole in back to run your wires. Repaint if you want. Set your tv on top.

Hi. Here is one that I transformed into a tv stand for our cottage... http://www.recreateddesigns.com/2016/08/vintage-dresser-turned-tv-stand/
I did one for my neighbor. I remove the top drawer, and used 1/4" plywood for the space bottom, and each half was set up for a DVD and a VCR.
I did the top natural pine stain, and did large wooden knobs for the bottom 2 drawers. The rest of the dresser was done in a wedgewood blue.
Everyone loved it. I got the idea by looking at media centers on Wayfair.com for inspiration.
This depends on your experience with transforming pieces. Most furniture flippers remove a couple of drawers and add wood for storage.

Thank you everybody......Found it! Got an idea now for this weekend. Going thifty marketing Friday...LOL
Sounds like you're already well on your way to a tv stand. Try repainting it or stripping the paint off and go from there. You can add shelves inside to hold components as needed.
