If they are not cracked i would not touch them. If you do not like the color simply paint tiles.
You could paint and stencil them! Here's my tutorial: https://www.aratariathome.com/blog/painted-tile-tutorial-entry-way-makeover-part-2
If painting is not an option the best way to replace them would be to tear them out, smooth out the underlayment and lay new tiles.

You should consider removing them altogether along with the thinset mortar underneath. The job is labor intensive and messy - probably best to hire a pro.
A friend of mine updated her bathroom floor with floor decals, and it looks great: https://myfamilythyme.com/updating-with-tile-stickers/
You can paint and stencil the tiles for a different look without ripping anything up
To get different sized tile and a different color, you have to remove the tiles and put new ones in. To just change the color, you can paint them or use decals. I stencil painted a bathroom floor of ours inexpensively. You can see how I did it here: https://www.flippingtheflip.com/2019/03/how-to-stencil-paint-ceramic-tile-floor.html
Hi Nana.
Just tile over the top starting in the middle and work outwards. Enjoy.
