Antique Crockery & White Tulips
Creating a beautiful centerpiece out of antique crockery and white tulips for spring.
I think this is one of my favorite centerpieces yet🙌🏻
Antique crock, found at any antique store, thrift shop, or flea market. This one happens to have been my mother’s.
12 White Tulips, Greenery, and Moss from the supermarket, florist, or the outdoors. A Vase or container, and a copper penny.
Add vase or container to the inside of the crock and fill it with warm water. This is where the florals will reside.
Start by adding an abundance of the greenery into the vase inside the crock. I also added some babies breath for softness. Once the greenery is complete, add in the white tulips for the complete style.
To keep the tulips from drooping, add an old copper penny to the vase filled with water. It needs to be a copper penny though, not a newer penny.
I also added some Pete moss around the base of the flowers at the top of the crock as a filler and it adds a nice rustic charm to the flower arrangement. Join me on over on the blog to see more🙌🏻
