Clean Fifo bottles?
I store my chalk paint in FIFO bottles. Now the paint in empty and I want to refill them, I cant get the dried chalk paint from the sides of the bottles. I have tried vinegar, soaking in hot water and using a bottle brush and it does not budge.

Hi! I found a blogger who also uses them for paint. Apparently you can also use them for epoxy or glitter, which I didn't know! Here is her blog about them. It's an older post, but, I bet she's had the same problem at some point. Good luck!

Just use as is. If it won't come out after doing all of that it won't mix with new paint. Don't worry about it.
Hi Anita, have you tried using steel wool to scrap it off after soaking in boiling water?
No I did not, but I think it will work. I have super fine steelwool I can wrap it around the bottle brush. I will give it a go. Thank you.
91% isopropyl alcohol works to remove chalk paint.
Have you tried using Citristrip to maybe strip off the paint
Try paint thinner or mineral spirits
Tried all that was mentioned. Steelwool on a bottle brush was the only thing that worked.
