Or hang some curtain rods from the ceiling and put some pretty colourful sheets on the rods

You could put up lattice panels or shutters on stands so that it is still vented and then use it for hanging decor.

Probably build a cabinet around it.
You could get a cute screen and stand it in front of it to hide it or hang a curtain rom the ceiling to cover it.
