What is the best curtain rod for a mobilehome door??
I have a window on my side door of a mobile home. How do I hang a curtain. I've tried the magnetic curtain rod but it wouldn't work. Any suggestions???

Can you insert a tension rod both top and bottom to hold the curtain in place and from blowing around when you open the door? Can you mount a curtain rod above the window? Maybe some privacy film would work better than a curtain. Just a few thoughts!
You can use 3M Command hooks to hang the curtain rod. They just stick in place. Won't damage the door when removed
I would give command hooks a try.
I would imagine it would be easier to use the ones that screw into the door with the rod that rests on top like the image attached. Of if you want something less permanent command hooks do one the can be removed.

We have a small mini blind in our door. There are curtain rods at both the top and bottom of the window so the blind is stretched tight and doesn't flop around when opened or closed. It is just a regular curtain rod but only about 2 feet wide (the size of the window).
Hello Nancy,
Maybe use Velcro to hold a bamboo cane. Stick grabber bit to each side of window, and cut a larger piece of softer bit to wrap around the cane and adhere to the velcro on window! Do that each side and you have a secure fix and one that can be removed to change the curtain.........
If you have a frame around it, I would use tension rods at the bottom and top, they would hold the fabric in place. Just me, I hate to put holes in woodwork.
I would suggest an adhesive one - https://amzn.to/2SNdGki
Hi! In situations like that, Command hooks can hold a cafe type rod. A dowel will also work. Good luck and stay safe!

See if these ideas help you out.

What about a pressure rod?
They have Command hooks specifically made for curtain rods that would work great in a mobile home.
Hi Nancy, you can hang mini blinds on the door, they come with special clips that hold the bottom of the blinds in place when you open and close the door, and allow you to have the privacy you are needing. You just install like normal but add the clips at the bottom.
