How to makeover floor lamps
I found these 2 floor lamps on the side of the road in my neighborhood today. What can I do with them? They are close to 6 feet tall and other than needing the rod tighten, they are in good condition. I would like to make something else out of them, as I do not really need any floor lamps.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

You could make them into bird feeders or put bird houses on top of them and plant them in the yard.
Here are some more ideas,(although some are for table lamps) https://www.theshabbycreekcottage.com/ideas-repurpose-old-lamps.html
You could cut them apart and make them into tiered stands, or turn them into candlesticks.

What a nice score. You can take apart and use as legs for a table or shelf. How fun. Can't wait until we are allowed out and have yard sales.
What about mounting them at the sides of a plain headboard, or fireplace?

You can turn them into bird baths.
I like the table legs idea. I just saw an episode of Flea Market Flip where 2 contestants bought a lamp and took out the wiring, then they attached a round mirrored tray to the top to create an end table. Very attractive. This could be done to create a pair with your lamps cut in half. The other halves could go to another project, like attach to a headboard and have the 2 matching trays.
Hello there,
Nice find! Make shorter table lamps, or Plant tables/stands. Use as end posts for 4 poster bed. Or as rails across - Headboard. Candle sticks, or a combination of these ideas.

Hi,
Cut them and make a coffee table or end table. Drill out the middles and make candlesticks. Cut them down and make Two lamp bases. etc.
