How to reuse the mirrored hutch from top of dresser
We've got a 1977 bedroom set - pine, cannonball foot/head board and low dresser with mirrored hutch on top... Any ideas of reusing that hutch? Appreciate your help ~

Here are my few thoughts:
You can either put a piece of wood in the open part and add decorative hooks and use as a coat rack, or add a mirror and use it on a long hallway wall.
add some bun feet and a marble top for a narrow storage piece. Heck I’d hang it on the wall in my garage before I trashed it.
I like it as a wall hung shelf, someplace you need a small surface, like in an entry hall with a mirror above. I hope you kept the rest of the hutch … it could be fabulous storage in a bathroom or studi-office or wall hung in a walk in closet holding purses and accessories.

Hi, Are there shelves in the hutch part? I have seen the top part of dresser or hutches put directly on the floor to make bookshelf. They look really cool and make for lower shelving.

Here's a unique one I found. They hung the top on the wall. Good luck and stay safe!
You could use the mirror as a wall-hung mirror after doing something with the frame. A photo would help with suggestions.
I've seen people add legs to the bottom of the top of the hutch and turn it into a coffee bar.
I have seen quite a few of these made into a coffee bar.
Hello there,
Add four legs or a heavy base for it to stand on so it looks right as a stand alone item.
Good luck!
