How can i cover tile and mirrors around a fireplace?

i cannot afford to rebuild, so i am looking for suggestions on covering only.

    Could you paint them? You can definitely paint tile and mirror so that might be an option to make them look completely different and depending on size, you wouldn't need much paint.

    Oh! I am a BIG fan of painting. Most anything, properly primed with KILS, can be painted. (Go with a neutral color.)

    Tile Stickers or Transfers might be the answer you are looking for..........or Board it over if not going to be used for a fire anymore......

    Paint is the cheapest solution. Clean the tile and mirrors well. prime with Kilz primer. Then paint.

  • I agree. Paint is the way to go, just be sure to clean them well and use a good primer.

    Paint is always cheapest remodel solution. A photo of your fireplace would help spur more answers.

    They also sell stickers made specifically for tile. You just place the stickers on the tile and change the look instantly!

    If the area doesn’t get hot to the touch, use reclaimed wood to cover the area similar to shiplap. Just use an adhesive to stick on to the area or you can you sheet rock cut to fit the same way with adhesive. Just mud and tape the seams when dry... paint
