Yes you can paint the tiles. You need to use a good epoxy paint and let it dry thoroughly. That means a few days to a week for a bathroom. You might just try changing the color of the grout with Mapei grout refresh. Check out the 30 colors on Amazon. Then decorate around those colors
You can use a tub and tile kit to paint it white for high durability. Just make sure There is great ventilation, it has a strong smell!
there is also gripping primer available that works well with slick surfaces like tile, and you can tint the paint any color you want!

There are Tile Paints available at DIY stores. Or you could use Tile covers, they come in metalic or transfers or sticky backed plastic. Lots to choose from. Have fun..........
