Ideas for bathroom remodeling?
Me and my husband have decided to remodel our bathroom, and we're not liking any of the ideas that our remodeler is suggesting. Are there any ways we can look up new ideas and talk them to see if they can do that for us?

We have kitchen and bath remodlers with showrooms here to see all sorts of ideas. Also Interior designers do that. I draw up remodel plans for bathrooms all the time and have a lists of quality remodlers. Realize you are limited to where your vent and toilet drain are . Very expensive to move those. Of course if money is no object anything can be done. Vent stack runs thru roof. The large waste line usually thru the basement.
Hi Therese, here's a search here in Hometalk for all of the posts shared for bathroom before and after remodels. I hope it helps! https://www.hometalk.com/search/posts?filter=Bathroom%20in%20Make%20Over You should absolutely be able to get whatever you want and if your current contractor isn't vibing with you you can always get another opinion!
Theresa: if your designer is not listening to you -- get another designer. Here's a number of ideas... pick a few out and share them with a designer for feedback.

Watching DIY shows on HGTV or DIY network can always give you ideas.
You can check out Pinterest for bathroom ideas. Copy pictures and make a bathroom board for all the things you'd like to see. Your remodeler should be listening to what you would like but also offering advice as to what may or may not work in your space and situation. Check out showroom stores that offer kitchen and bath renovation ideas.
Want to share a floor plan of the space or photos here and we can give you ideas?
if not, make a Pinterest board and search and pin things you like! A nice problem to have! :)
I would look on Pinterest at ideas and bring them in with you. Or, you could look at some different remodeling rooms where they have bathrooms set up.
Ok Theresa, this is a worldwide site. We have no idea where you live either. You can hop on here and peruse other bathroom remodels to get ideas. Another route would look on Pinterest or a host of other sites to see what catches your eye. If you have any kitchen and bath showrooms, pop on in and see what they have to offer. If you have photos, your builder can recreate whatever you want as well, combining bits from from several photos. Still get a written estimate so there are no surprises. You can Google for designers, showrooms and ideas.

I love Pinterest. I also love looking through the photos on Google images to get ideas. We just redid our bathroom and that's where I got all of my ideas.
I would recommend looking through websites, go on several home tours (open houses, realtors, & friends), until you find what you like.
Pinterest and google search are what I like to use for design ideas! you can start with a broad bathroom remodeling search, and narrow down from there as you see what you like.
Hello. Have you thought about searching the visuals on Pinterest or Houzz for inspiration? There is a wealth of ideas and visual inspiration there for your consideration. That might lead you to decide on an idea or theme. After that I’ll be assembling materials and starting your project.
Beyond the pretty parts, think about water-conserving toilets, w-c shower heads, 70 CFM exhaust fan is now Code (even if you have a window) and heat light vs. heat fan.
I would search bathrooms on Pinterest and see what styles you like and show that to the contractor
I always use Houzz.com for inspiration, search the pictures for bathrooms. https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=toilet+grab+bars+amazon&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
