You can cut them with pinking shears - that will help. What is the fabric made of? Some just don’t fray eg polar fleece or felt.

Fray Check works for me
Hello one of the easiest way is to use an adhesive sealer found at the sewing notions department. Fray check is the name of one it’s like a clear glue that stops the unraveling. It’s probably the most easily found at fabric stores, craft stores. Amazon or Walmart.
