Depends on how dirty they are. If they are bad take them to a car wash or if you have a pressure washer use the fan tip on them.
You should be able to soap them up with a good detergent like oxyclean, scrub them with a stiff brush and spray them with a garden hose. Let air dry. Worse case, get yourself a new set and clean up as messes happen.
If the mats are carpeted take the mats out, beat them on the driveway to loosen any dirt and then vacuum well. Then I use a spray on carpet cleaner to clean them. Sometimes you have to scrub them with a brush. Here's a video that may help:

Agreed on pulling them out and hitting them with a pressure washer or at a self serve car wash - works like a charm. I've also thrown them in my washing machine (after spraying them thoroughly with my garden hose) then air dried them outside on my deck.
If they are rubber, they can be scrubbed and rinsed with a hose. Ones made of carpet can be shaken, vacuumed, and cleaned with carpet cleaner.
I scrub mine with a plastic bristle brush. You can use any cleaner you want on them. Hose off and let dry in the sun.
If they are fabric then use an upholstery cleaner on them and rinse lightly and them them air dry - if they are rubber you can use a cleaner on them scrub rinse and air dry-

I use Dawn detergent to scrub my car mats then rinse with the hose. Leave in sun to dry and they come out perfect
Many car washes have clips on the wall to hold your mat while you clean it. I have used my power washer, too. For light color mats I have also used my steam rug shampooer. Good results with all of them. Resolve spray is great for stains. Good luck and stay safe!
Hello. I would suggest washing them outside with the garden hose in the driveway. Hang to dry
For my carpeted floor mats, I take them to the laundromat and put in 1 of the big machines, then take them home and dry in the sun.
For the plastic/rubber ones, use the hose or pressure washer and drip dry. Or as other Hometalkers have said clip them in the bay of the diy car wash and spray.
Use a hose or power washer to clean your mats at home. You can add some soapy warm water if they have gunk stuck on them.
I would use a power washer to rinse them
You can take them out and hose them off, usually does the trick.
Hi Rita, pull them out at the carwash or at home, vacuum them off, then wet down with hose, then pretreat with a spray cleaner like simple green or Mr Clean spray, let sit for about 5 minutes, for tough stains use a scrub bush in s gentle circular motion, then rinse and hang to dry. Make sure they are dry before you put them back in the vehicle, if not they may get musty smelling, better safe that sorry. Good luck!!
