Hi Suzie, Petunias need lots of full sun to really do well and not to much water. They're extremely water wise too. You can read more about caring and growing them here - https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/petunia/petunia-care.htm

I love petunias! I buy them every year! I make sure I feed them with Miracle Grow Bloom Booster plant food! I always have gorgeous petunias! I plant mine in large pots on my deck. I do move them into a semi shaded area when it gets too hot--85-90+--even though they are a sun loving plant.

Hi Susie, they are beautiful, I have many planted in my yard, I fertilize them once a week ans I make sure they never go dry, check and water daily. Do this and your petunias will thrive! ps they are not picky on the fertilizer.
I did last summer and all I did was make sure the were sufficiently watered and gave them a micronutrient weekly.
Hi Susie. Petunias love the shade. Keep the soil moist. And pull the dead heads off regularly. The more dead heads you pull off, the more new blossoms you will get. Good luck Susie. I hope you are healthy and well.

Our petunias multiply and flow all outside our planter every year. We mulch the soil around them about 3 inches each spring, and water them when it has not rained in a week. In a hanging basket, it is best to use the water absorbents (similar to moss or sponges) to help hold in water so they do not become dry with water running out as soon as you water them. They love full sun
