Build a bed frame
new full size mattress and adjustable base. Want to build frame to cover the base and cover in fabric to match fabric headboard. I want the frame to go from top of frame flush to floor

Do you already have a headboard that you want to cover. I ask because the headboard will need to have access wood to accommodate the frame because you are building outside the base.

I think your best bet would be to build it like a box to go around the base rather than trying to attach it to anything. You could build the headboard and attach to the wall. Then footboard & sides in a "U" shape to slide into place against the wall.

You could try Ikea as well. They sometimes have basic, inexpensive frames, especially if you're going to cover it in fabric anyway. Good luck!

If you do not already have all the requisite carpentry tools to construct a bed frame, then purchasing a preowned one may be more cost effective.
