I purchased some fly traps off Amazon and so far the most effective bait has been chicken at the point of rot with coca cola or sugar water to keep it wet. We have cows so we are still trying to figure out where to hang them so they don't get knocked down. The shepherd hooks were a big NO, cows trampled them. But it worked well on the outside of the fence.
You can use any of these methods: https://www.bobvila.com/articles/how-to-get-rid-of-flies-outside/

Are you meaning outside or inside the house?

Keeping large pots of basil on a patio near the entry doors, or atop kitchen counters will repel flies, as will oscillating fans.
Scrub your walls, counters, dishwasher, disposal gasket, refrigerator (inside, outside, underneath and behind) , cabinets (including interiors), floors ( including under the cabinet toe kick areas)with an appropriate cleaner, warm water, and a few drops of lemon dish detergent. Don't forget to pull out appliances to get into infrequently accessed spaces.
All food items must be kept in tightly secured containers.
Clean counters, sinks and stovetops immediately after food prep/meals. Wipe backsplashes and walls, cutting boards, etc.
Check window seals and caulk, if needed.
WOW!
I think I would have to sell my house. I'm disabled and not able to do all of this at once.
A barn raising would be easier. LOL
NOT because you have white flies - I don't know what they look like.
Maybe there is a culprit someplace that is attracting the white flies.
Hi Ronnie. To get rid of flies, use a shallow bowl and fill it with an inch of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of sugar. Next add a squirt of some fruit scented dish soap. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap. Poke some holes in the plastic wrap. The flies will be drawn in to the liquid but won't be able to get out. Change the mixture often. Good luck Ronnie.

I’ve used a 2 liter bottle, cut the top 1/4 off, invert the top into the bottle, add some yeast and water then set it outside. Catches flies like mad, it’s gross!
