Hi, I just bought some succulents online. And I know that I'm supposed to change the soil. Any suggestions what is the best soil for potted succulents? Thanks a bunch!

Hi Succie, you can get a succulent or cactus soil at garden centres and home improvement stores. It is specifically designed for the needs of succulents. Alternatively, I have read that the mix for African Violets is also great for succulents.

At Lowes or Home Depot you can find soil specifically for succulents/cactus. However, I've used regular potting soil (usually with the moisture beads) and it works well with my succulents in my bird bath.
They are so hardy! Unless you have red clay soil, add what you have access to!

Cactus and succulent mix. Available almost everywhere plants are sold. Don't stress about it too much. They grow easily in incredibly poor soil. Just don't over water which is one of the most common mistakes.
