I used a Carnauba car wax on my chalk paint, painted furniture in my Airbnb. It went on very easily, looked good until my guests spilt their drinks all over it ..now I can’t remove the water stains. Do I need to sand it all off and start over with a new layer of chalk paint and wax? Does the minwax paste wax stain as easily? Should I use another sealer instead of wax. Thanks for any advice. You may want to paint your walls a different color so the cabinets don't blend in with the wall - maybe a light gray. Then you need to hang up a large clock, get some burlap and cotton as decor, use some natural wood stools, or antique stools, use old baskets, tin pitchers, magnolia wreaths - just watch an episode of Fixer Upper and get some ideas for decor. Sounds like you have great bones - now you just need the details.

Add red gingham check or buffalo check pattern textiles. My favorite way to decorate is to browse photos until I find an inspiration one and then I mimic it. Galvanized or Copper baskets and tiered holders are items I also think of with the farmhouse look.
Can you share photos of your kitchen? That would help with ideas!
