How can I share with my 2 daughters?
My husband’s mother passed away at a very young age and my husband received 1 pair of earrings. We have 2 daughters and would like to share with each daughter...but just 1 pair of earrings. Does anybody have any ideas of how we can share these for each of our daughters?

You could have two pendants made. Each one would include an earring in the design. Each of your daughters would then have something from their grandmother.
Could you take one earring for each and turn it into a pendant on a necklace? Then they would each have one and a jeweller could probably easily change the setting from an earring to a pendant.
You could put the stones in matching pinky rings and give one to each daughter. They have some rose gold settings that are beautiful.
You could have a jeweler solder a bracket/link to each earring so they could be worn on a necklace as a charm, one for each daughter.. if they are small earrings you could buy each daughter a charm bracelet and it could be the first charm and every year, on their grandmothers birthday gift additional charms that represent their lives as they unfold..
Hello. Perhaps melted them into another piece of jewelry like a bracelet or a pendant or even a charm for a bracelet might be an option.
I have seen some pretty Christmas tree decorations made from vintage jewellery. Maybe if neither of the girls feels the earring are their 'style' enough to wear them as jewellery, then making them into a Christmas ornament may be an option for you.
Hello,
Are they gold or silver or costume jewellery? Do you have a picture you can share? If gold or silver with or without stones maybe they could be made into rings or pendants or charms to add to a bracelet. Best wishes.
What about framing one each in a little shadow box?
Is it something you could have made into a pendant? Then you could give each a necklace.
Thank you very much...some ideas I had thought of, but loved them all!
Make them into two necklaces or bracelets
make them into pendants for each daughter ~ or even a small ring for each one
You could make them into rings or necklaces
Depending on what the earrings are made of you could have another piece of jewelry made for them. Or some people have 3 holes in their ears. If you want to keep it that way they could wear it there, if it's the proper size.
Turning each earring into a ring would be a lovely idea for your girls
I agree with Annie, turn them into rings or maybe even pendants for necklaces.
