I would scour the internet for inspiration photos. Once you land on one you love, imitate it. Pick a color for your theme. I’ve seen soda fountain type glasses and ice cream dishes at the dollar tree. For some reason a straw dispenser would be a must for this look. Maybe a vintage Coca Cola sign.
What a great idea! Take a look at this link, it has the milkshake glasses, a cool straw dispenser, malt cups, and striped straws and other things that would fit right in!

Depends on what era you're trying to emulate..... I worked in an 1900s soda fountain on my first job at 13.... these were usually located in pharmacies or old fountains in Woolworths 5 & dime stores. These featured lots of chrome pumps for flavorings, and trays for fruits and nuts, and large seltzer bottles for making egg creams. https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALeKk030uEbVq5ZLeXn6_qGmojl-88FyPQ:1601422540275&source=univ&tbm=isch&q=pictures+of+old+fashioned+soda+fountains&client=opera&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwixspftw4_sAhXxFzQIHUGlDkAQjJkEegQIChAB&biw=884&bih=418#imgrc=-DbeR2YVZ_smnM usually had mirrors on wall with labeling for sodas, ice cream dessert flavors.
Then in the 50s were the brighter fountains with their checkerboard floors, bright color and chrome stools, and bright laminate counters.... favorite color was red, but also yellow and blue. https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALeKk030uEbVq5ZLeXn6_qGmojl-88FyPQ:1601422540275&source=univ&tbm=isch&q=pictures+of+old+fashioned+soda+fountains&client=opera&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwixspftw4_sAhXxFzQIHUGlDkAQjJkEegQIChAB&biw=884&bih=418#imgrc=1QKCbRWsCF5LnM These ususally also served hot dogs and hamburgers n fries. Coca Cola was a favorite.
This catalog always had bright red kitchen ware, and 50s inspired furniture.... https://www.seventhavenue.com/c/furniture/kitchen-dine-furniture/sets-chairs/?start=0&sz=30

Oh how fun! https://blog.retroplanet.com/retro-coca-cola-soda-fountain-dinette-setup/ I found a whole bunch of inexpensive and old coca cola signs and buckets and things at my local antique shop. I would start there for some inspiration too!
Think black and white checkerboard floors, red vinyl chairs or bar stools. Classic Coca Cola signs.

Hello. You may wish to look at the inspired by the Johnny Rockets restaurants. Two toned tiled floors chrome and retro furnishings might be options to consider.
You’ll find a slew of pictures in Google images — study those and I’m sure you’ll have a shopping list in no time.
