How to fix our concrete floors cheap?
We have an old bath house the we renovated a 2 bedroom house. Everything is done except for some walls and concrete floors in our laundry room and bedroom. What can we do for inexpensive quick fix to the concrete. We don’t want carpet cause of allergies. The concrete would need to be leveled in spots. Any ideas would be appreciated. I’m so tired of the ugly looking rough concrete especially in my bedroom. We have a baby in foster care now who is crawling everywhere and don’t want him to get hurt.
thanks

You could stain and seal it. Here's a link:

Hi Tandy
To get the roughness out and make it level there is a leveling product you can use (I am attaching info on that) and then you could paint it or you could just clear coat it - here is some info

You can paint the concrete, that would be an easy fix. Here's a link with more info

Hi Tandy, you might look into a Rustoleum product called "Rock Solid". It is a 2-part epoxy that looks great. It comes in a very few colors. After applied to concrete it creates a very solid, easy to cae for surface. You'd want to do any leveling and repair work to the area as any cracks, dings, etc. will show through. I have seen this product applied to an entire one-level home's floor and it looks fantastic. They chose the grey metallic but it is currently available in a few other colors. Check it out at your local big box store.

Could you stain it with different colors for a mottled look? They do this at the gym I go to and it looks really cool and industrial.
Clean with an etching cleaner and then stain. If you want it to look like tile, you can put down tape for grid lines to mimic grout

there is a patch kit at home improvement stores
Or . . . Peel and stick tile. Or sheet vinyl. Regardless of what you choose, still lay down rugs, especially if you have a crawling baby. If in the northern hemisphere, winter is coming and the floor needs to be soft and warm . Many area rugs can be washed or larger ones at a coin laundry.
Maybe peel and stick tile
Hi! You can paint it, or cover it. Even an area rug will help soften it. If you are concerned about any type of carpet, sheet linoleum would also work. Good luck!
Thank u all for your suggestions. Will check into your ideas. See what fits our budget.
You could put peel and stick vinyl flooring over it or patch the concrete then stain it and seal.
