How about a light toned wood colored coffee table?
Rather than matching, go with a coordinated color. You could do a dark wood tone or metallic or a pop of color.
How about wicker? You could paint to match or contrast.
If it's an odd color, don't try to match it. Go with a contrasting color.
Looks like the tv stand is quite old. Perhaps some antique shops may have similar styles
What decor style do you have? If it is some type of rustic then chicken wire replacing some panels would look good. But if not don't try to match the other item but use a color that compliments that color.
Use contrast to call attention to a piece you want the eye drawn towards.
Hello Lisa, it looks sort of like a greyish color, I like it, don't go for an exact match but a color similar with the same tones, or a contrasting color, personally I like to keep similar. Hope this helps
you can use different colors together to decorate or else buy the other items and paint them to match your TV stand
Take a shelf or drawer from the tv stand to a paint store. You can then compare the color against every paint sample they have. You can also check out contrasting/other colors to see what you may like. I've found that method to be the easiest way to coordinate things. 😎
Do you have any natural wood in the room? If so, you could match it to the natural wood color you already have.
I mix woods and finishes all the time, but if you want a match, take a door off and bring it to a paint store. They can match the color and you can paint a table with it.
Okay thank you
You could use chalk paint to paint either the stand or the table, or both. I like the chalky finish paint by DecoArt.
I used chalk paint to paint an old oak jewelry chest in my home and I like how it turned out. It was a few years ago, and the finish still looks great: https://momhomeguide.com/chalk-painted-jewelry-chest/
Hello. You could ask your local paint store to mix a custom color to match the coloration in the other furniture.
Colors don't have to match. Use a contrasting color. A dark wood tone would work. Charcoal or black would look good.
You could take a small piece like a door to Home Depot and they will match the paint
Another thought, would you want to change the stand color? That is another option.
wood tones or black will go with it. Depends on what the other colors in the room are
Hi! If you love the color, just find a color that goes well with it. If you don't love the color, you could refinish it to go with another piece. Decide which way you want to go with it and you have many options and some fun projects! Stay safe !
In what way are you having trouble? With color? With style? I personally would highlight the difference by getting something I liked regardless of style/color/etc — doing so is much easier and makes for more interesting design.
