Fabric steamer for curtain sheers??
Could someone recommend a good fabric steamer for sheers? I’m taking down all my blinds and replacing them with sheers. But ironing over 20 panels sounds like too much work! Thank you!

Hi Chriss, a steamer will work well. I have also found that if I wash sheers on the gentle cycle and then hang them up while they are still wet, it greatly reduces the wrinkles as they dry. Gravity pulls them down and you can smooth them out with your hands after you get them hung (while they are wet). Sheers dry really quickly so they will be dry in no time and have a lot fewer wrinkles this way.

Hi Chriss, throw the sheers into the wash on gentler and hang to dry, You can also use any steamer to relieve wrinkles, or a spray bottle with plain water in it.

I put all my curtains or drapes in the dryer on delicate with a damp towel. No ironing necessary. I do this with bed skirts too.
I would steam them for sure. This is the one I use: https://rstyle.me/+I3OlJlDI-lB-6BCBiJ3BtA
Hello I use the dryer and wet towel as well. Some dryers even have a steam function.
What you do is wash them and hang them up wet they dry instant and no wrinkles
Hello there,
When you wash them, either hang them out to dry wet then no need to Iron. or use a tumble drier on cold.

I would wash them first and hang them with some weight attach to the bottom. The weight will pull out the wrinkles and your curtains will smell all fresh and clean.

Joy mangano steamer is what I have. I use for clothes almost daily. Steamed my new balance after spritzing with diluted fabric softener and it did a great job.
Hey Chriss. I have a con-air upright steamer that I bought a few years back for steaming my daughter's wedding dress and this thing is amazing. It's great for sheers, drapes, and even my husband's tux among other things. Walmart.ca has it on sale for $69.00.
You could wash and then dry with the wrinkle release
