How can I make a drain for water under my deck?
When it rains the moisture remains under the deck for a long time because there is no drainage. There are no openings at the bottom of the deck to allow water to escape or at least drain out. I am afraid of the damage that moisture is causing under the house.

I found this under-deck drainage system that might work for you:

Have you considered a sloping roof over the deck to divert the rain water? That might take care of some of the problem. Are there gutters and downspouts to pointing away from the deck? Here is a a link that might help you:

What is the height of the space under your deck to the ground below?
Yes, we need to know more, maybe some pics?
Hello there,
If you can you would need to dig a hole in the the middle and then fill it with gravel at the same time lay channels coming from the central hole like a star or sun rays and running them so as they grade out to be lower at the outside edges (so water can run out from under the deck) a sort of Soak a way! Back fill on top. Otherwise if you can Drill holes in the ends of the Deck or add Vents to the ends of the deck to allow Air to pass through and dry the area quicker. Given more than one idea, as I don't know the height of your deck and house off the ground!

I would make an opening so there is access under the deck and then dig a trench for drainage
You can dig a small drainage ditch in a couple of spots to allow water to drain. It should be supported on the corners and possibly middle, depending on the size, so adding a few drains should not be an issue.
