Are you referring to the bulb? I used a replacement bulb that was "cheap" and it didn't last. I keep mine on all the time so I opted for a higher quality bulb and I've had no issues since then.
Their average life is about 1,000 hours or 42 days if left on all the time. If they aren't lasting as long, you may want to invest in a better quality bulb.
I would look into LED bulbs for lights that will last the longest. They're pricy but they're worth it!

I buy my bulbs at Home Depot for my salt lamps and they last a long time - the cheaper ones don't last but a couple of months
HIMALAYAN SALT LAMP LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT GUIDE
https://saltlady.com/blogs/news/himalayan-salt-lamp-light-bulb-replacement-guide
The bulb used in your salt lamp is specific, it is based on the weight of your salt lamp. Also it is recommended that you leave your salt lamp on continually, if it is possible. If you can't get the exact bulb, them give local hardware stores a try or stores like Home Depot or Lowes. I would consider paying more for a good bulb rather than having the ones that don't last as long.
Not sure if this is what you are looking for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqNrkw64pTM
I would take it back to the shop.
This is a case where you get what what you pay for. I don't have any salt lamps but my sister does. She went through what you're going through right now. Spend a few dollars more for a quality bulb. You won't regret it.
Check all of the connections with wire and bulb. How old are they? Could you return them? Or you could just rewire it yourself and see if that fixes it.
You must buy high-quality bulbs for salt lamps. I use to buy them from slatpur and never disappointed. Here is the link to their site
