Hi Parv, try to locate your Kenmore D/W instruction manual, it may very well have the information and part # so you can obtain a new part. If not, locate the Model #, Serial #, etc. from the machine itself and use Google to get the information you need. There are many youtube videos that show how to make minor repairs to all sorts of appliances, if you have the appropriate part name. I searched videos but did not locate one that pertaiins to your exact problem. Sometimes parts from different manufacturers will interace, so don't give up just yet.
Sorry, would need to be replaced. My go to for parts https://www.repairclinic.com/

Hi! Have you tried to find a replacement part online?
I have to agree with William. I would contact Sears or another reputable appliance repair company.

Sears in my area have all closed, but in other states still open.
My go to is often those appliances curbside before trash pickup. We have rental property and save LOTS of money salvaging parts from the curb!
Go to YouTube to see how to remove and reinstall the part
Good Luck
Thank you so much for your time and suggestions I will check and let you know. Thanks again and have a great weekend.
Look up the model number online and order the replacement part.

You can surely get a replacement part for that repair.
Best to find a used part. If that broken piece swivels in the arm , Maybe able to get one made by a machinist. But will be expensive... Could try running without, see how it works..
When a part broke on my dishwasher, I went onto the manfacturer's website and found the replacement part. Then googled it for best price, which I found on Amazon. Sadly, it was less than 6 months later the circuit board went out and it was cheaper to replace than repair.
RecentlyMay Indesit dishwasher was in the same situation. Than a Friend told me to get it repair from companies service center because they have genuine parts and they can help me with the best services. Her advice was worth to take with a pinch of salt, I contact Indesit dishwasher service center and they repair my dishwasher as it was never broken. Same advice for you.
