We had lots and lots of wine corks from festivals and personal usage, also a large ceramic hand painted picture (3' X3'). I went to Home Depot and bought "L" shaped plastic outside corner moulding and built a frame with an inner channel to glue the corks in. Pretty much a forward and backward "L" glued together at the base to allow the corks to lie snugly in. Came out beautiful. You could also use the same technique to frame out a door or a window, have seen this done at a VA winery, looked nice.
Hello I most commonly see them made into trivets and wreaths. Great question looking for new ideas too.
