Cricut Exploer Air 2?
i purchased a Cricut Explorer Air 2 last week from Walmart
it was $179 which is same price as the Cricut Joy so I figured it was a good deal
There was only one and it’s a dark green color so made me think it was older because of color but that didn’t bother me
my issue with it is that it’s not cutting my vinyl enough and doesn’t release from the vinyl backing
i have googled and watched a ton of you tube videos and still not sure what’s wrong
has anyone had this issue with a new Cricut ?
thanks

There is a setting in it where you can select what type of material it is cutting. Have you selected the correct material? Also, you could be able to select the blade depth to cut deeper. Sometimes I've had to do this if my blade gets dull or if it just isn't cutting through the paper or vinyl.
You do need to make sure you have the correct blade and the correct setting for the product you are cutting.

Hello watching you tubes is very helpful. They provided my complete education the last 12 months. You need to use the correct cutting setting that is independently custom selected for your vinyl. Additionally extra pressure can be added if your blade is dull. Hope this helps!

you can go to cricuit website for info and ask them what the problem may be or else return it to the store if you can't get it to work
You might need to apply more pressure when cutting, turn the dial further
That's a deal! Let us know how it turns out!
You need a a deep cut blade, I purchased the same one, make sure it matches your Cricut https://amzn.to/3brwOwu
