DIY Snowman Pom Pom Poppers for Indoor Snowball Fights
With just a few supplies from the Dollar Store and a few household craft supplies, you can turn leftover paper party cups into to Snowman Pom Pom Poppers to create hours of fun (and quiet) play! Host an indoor snowball fight by letting each of your kiddos select a different color of pom poms.
Ask an adult carefully cut the bottom out of the paper cup with a craft knife.
Trim the very top off a standard 12” balloon with scissors. Knot the end of the balloon. Gather the cut balloon and stretch it over one end of the cup, centering the knot over the opening.
Secure balloon on to paper cup with duct tape. (Washi style tape will only work short term because it is not a sticky as the duct style tape).
Cover duct tape with a ribbon tied in a loose knot and secured with the glue gun and glue sticks. Cut fishtails out of the ends of the ribbon.
Cut out eyes from black construction paper and a carrot nose from orange construction paper. Attach to top of cup with an adhesive runner. Draw on a mouth with a permanent marker.
Load the Popper with pom poms, pull back on the knotted end and then let go to launch the snowballs!
Create this quick and easy paper cup snowman pom pom popper with the kiddos. It’s a great elementary exercise in identifying colors, counting, and beginner physics! Indoor play during the long winter months is important for creative growth and fun play!

This is a great idea. Cotton balls would be even more snowball like.
