Green Accent Table Makeover
I was hesitant about doing a bold colour on these side tables! But I am happy I did :) they’re are definitely unique and will take the right customer to purchase them, but whoever that ends up being I know will love them! Sometimes you just need to be brave when it comes to colour!
Best chalk paint
Before the magic of art happened!
After being sanded down, I used bin shellac primer! 3 coats! Vintage pieces have a rep for a lot of bleed through (tannins)
I blended two colours together from
behr paint! And added BB Frosch powder!
I did 2 coats of paint, than touched up a few areas with a third coat!
This top had 2 coats of veneer before the natural wood!
It was a big pain in the butt!! I don’t find one technique to be easier veneer will always be a pain to get off
So nice tho!
Twin for twin! Matching matching. I used an espresso stain for the tops!
I then top coated two coats with a poly!
These ended up being a perfect statement Piece! Even though side tables are just as much work if not more than a dresser they’re always so cute!
