Hi Lynn,
Here's how:

Hello. When I had this problem on the rug—I scraped off as much as I could and used a warm iron and an old rag or piece of paper to absorb the rest by blotting it off using the warm iron. Hope you find an easy solution.

Put it in the freezer. After it's frozen, most of the wax should scrape off easily. For what is left, cover it with paper towels and use a warm iron to melt it. The paper towels will absorb the wax as it melts. Keep changing the paper towels as necessary.
Hi! Scrape as much of it off as you can. Work Dawn dish detergent into the residue, rinse and repeat as needed. Good luck!
Scrape off spilled wax with a dull knife. Put several layers of kraft paper under the linen, then place a sheet of kraft paper on top of stain. Using low heat, iron until wax is drawn into the paper, moving the paper around until all the wax is gone. If an oily spot remains on the linen have the cloth dry-cleaned.
Can you re-melt it with hot water
I would try putting ice on the spot, but don't let it get wet. You want it to be cold enough to scrape, not soggy.
Hello, Freeze it and the wax will scrape off.
Thank you all so much for your input. I trust and appreciate all your input.
Happy St Patrick’s day to you!!
