How to paint kitchen cabinets that have already been painted?
My kitchen cabinets were painted in a satin finished rust color. I want to go white now. Can I just paint over that or will I need to strip off? If I need to remove the current paint, can goof off or mineral oil work for removal? Sanding would kill me ...lol. Thanks in advance for all advice, anything on how to paint kitchen cabinets is helpful.

You could prime them (I would do 2 coats) and then paint over them.
Hello. This bloggers kitchen refurbishment painting her cabinets white could be helpful. I think it’s one of the most loveliest refreshments I have seen. I hope this helps give you some guidance.

Clean them well, prime, and repaint.
Clean first then prime with either Kilz Original or Zinsser Bulls Eye. Then you will be able to paint to any color.
Goof Off is just for removing OOPS paint jobs. Mineral oil won't remove paint. All you need is the clean them, roughen the surface with a Scotch Brite pad or green kitchen scrubby. prime with Kilz primer and paint your color.
Another vote for You definitely don’t need to strip them! Clean well, use a top quality primer and paint. 👍

I would not strip but sand well
if you don't strip it you would need to use a product like KILZ to paint over it first it is a primer and will be helpful in covering darker colors

You need to scuff up the cabinets so that the primer will adhere. I would buy a stain blocking primer, and prime the cabinets, then lightly sand, and probably prime again. It would work better if you had a paint sprayer. I have a Wagner and love it. Then spray the cabinets again when primer is completely dry. Let dry for a day or two to make sure, as you do not want bubbles.
Just sand the first
You can paint over. Clean them well and use a primer/sealer first.
You can clean them well then apply a really good stain-blocking primer before using the paint of your choice. From rust to white is going to make a huge difference! Go for it!

You could just use a really good primer beforehand
