A Muffin Tin lined with Tin Foil creates a perfect Twig Nest Form.
Gently Press the Foil into each muffin cup.
Foil protects the Muffin Tin from the Hot Glue that Binds the Nest Together.
Fill each cup with tiny twigs.

Hi Leslie - I love your ideas for adding to the nests - they would be perfect with place card banners at each place setting. Thanks for sharing. Jeanne - Doodle T and Me!
Have a question about this project?
Do you wash the twigs? How?
All you have to do is put the twigs in soapy water and take a handful go over with a veggie brush, rinse well, set out to dry or put in the oven to dry on very low heat ( this will also kill anything alive after the wash ) and then make your nests. Jelly beans are cute but I would make the eggs out of paper clay or poly clay and paint. You could add a banner with the persons name for the place settings.
Cute! Thought about thin pretzel sticks glued together with hot Carmel or hot melted chocolate ...not too much...then nestling in your jelly bean eggs for an edible bird nest? 😊
There's a recipe melting choc chips and butterscotch chips then putting in the crunchy Chinese noodles. Spoon onto waxed paper. Could be made into nests. Yummy
