This Year Round Wreath DIY is so simple! Create a green wreath using faux sage to hang in your cottage style home all year round!

Hi yall! Did you see my DIY post last week?! You have to go make some of these for your faux tulips this Spring!

Wreaths are a beautiful way to dress up a space, aren’t they?! I love decorating with wreaths all year long. They look beautiful on doors, cupboards, and window frames. You can hang them from a coat hook, peg shelf, or in a bookcase. They are so great to fill a space, add layer and texture to an area, and bring a little life and greenery to a room!

This particular sage wreath is great to use all year long. It goes great with Spring and Summer decor, and you could easily add a few berries into it for Christmas. Or tuck a few sprigs of wheat or cotton into it for Fall!

I had ordered a few sage bush stems online and one of them came missing several stems, so instead of tossing it, I decided to salvage the remaining stems and use it to create a sweet little wreath!

Year Round Wreath DIY, Supplies Needed

You only need a few simple things for this project.

  • Small Grapevine Wreath (I used a 6-8″ wreath)
  • Faux Sage Stems or Bush
  • Green Floral Wire
  • Wire Cutters
  • Fabric or Ribbon for Bow (I used plain muslin fabric and tore a strip for my ribbon.)

Create a year round wreath in 3 Steps

Step one:

First. trim off individual stems of sage from your bundle.

Step Two:

Next, use floral wire to secure the sage stem to the grapevine wreath. I secured each stem at the end and about 3/4 of the way up the stem so it was good and secure. Continue doing this all the way around.

Step Three:

To finish, take any remaining small sage trimmings and tuck them into any holes or gaps in the wreath using hot glue. Loop a piece of fabric or ribbon around the wreath for hanging.

Is this not the cutest little wreath you’ve ever seen?! I think it turned out DARLING!
