I have little perfectly round holes in my yard... do you know why?
They are just at random and I see no worms or bugs . What is your opinion?
It could be drain flies/ larva. Here's a link:

It might be drain flies. Sprinkle some baking soda in the drain then pour in some vinegar to clean the drain. You may need to do that a couple times and be sure to pull out any hair in the drain too.
I agree with drain flies. The baking soda and vinegar to clean the drain.
It sounds like you need to clean your shower drain. Remove the cover if possible, put 1/2 cup baking soda and 1/2 cup white vinegar. Cover to let it bubble. Pour boiling water down the drain after 10 minutes.
Great advice provided so far using the baking soda and vinegar. You may need to do this regularly to keep this problem for happening in the future.....god insurance!
Get a drain snake and clean out any nasty hair etc that is down the drain. Try to flush it regularly with super hot water and a little dish soap to keep things clean
This is going to sound gross but very true. In my very first place I had slugs crawling up the shower drain. Turns out in my cases the line was cracked allowing them to enter that way. If the line is broken all the vinegar and baking soda in the world won't help (it would help for temp. fix but not a permanent one).
Good luck to you I hope the fix is a simple and cheap one.
Hello Helene,
As no pictures it is hard to say, but could they be Silverfish? They like damp conditions!
It is hard to say without a picture or a description, but it sounds like drain worms. Here is a link that will tell you how to treat it:

Our dil used to work for a cleaning service and when she encountered these for the first time she was totally surprised. They were in the shower stall at one of her homes.

Baking soda, and hot white vinegar, or Clorox Outdoors will clean your drain. Try not to use your shower for a few hours so the products work.
