Poor shrub
I don’t know what is causing our shrubs to do this. We do live in western Colorado…today it was 102 degrees!

Water them the heat is killing all the plants
Hello. For the best local professional advice I would highly suggest contacting your cooperative extension. These offices are manned by volunteer master gardeners on site there waiting to answer the communities questions that know your local situation quite well.
Master gardeners are required to volunteer back designated hours ( plus continuing education) each year to maintain MG certification -this community outreach and education is their goal.
Agree with the other Hometalkers, your plants need water, Try to not water them midday even though it is very hot them.
Hi! My grandfather was a fabulous gardener and he only watered at dusk and first thing in the morning. That way the plant can absorb it before it evaporates from the heat. Good luck!
I understand it was 113 here two weeks ago and my english walnut tree is looking bad. But the best thing to do is frequent deep watering. I like to water very early in the morning.
I agree with the other's recommendtions to water deeply, either early morning or late evening.
Water at night or in the morning
Have you posted a photo? It sounds like you are having some difficulty with the hot temperatures. I don't know what kind of plant it is, but some plants can help from some cool water being lightly sprinkled on them during the hottest part of the day in addition to the deep watering. You may also want to look into using some shade cloth to protect it during this time.
there wasn't a photo of your plants but I would say it is heat stress

Water in the morning and at dusk. less evaporation. Don't water at night. With the heat they can develop disease
Most likely heat but with a photo, perhaps we can figure out exact issue.
It's the heat. Try deep watering in the evening/early morning.
Hello. Dedicated watering efforts could help revive your plant. In severe cases I’ve used a root feeder to get water effectively and efficiently deep down to the roots of my thirsty plants.

Do you have a picture of what they are doing? I'd give them fertilizer and extra water for sure!
