Missingtx on Oct 06, 2014We had a passionflower vine trained on our fence when I was growing up in Texas. the blooms were about 5 inches across. It dien back in the winter but would come back in the spring. I tried one here i n Kansas but it didn't come back in spring. Ours did not bear fruit, we were told that the fruit bearing ones are also called Maypop. Ours was not invasive and did not spread, perhaps that is more a trait of the maypop.
