Why would you settle for messy cords around your console or table when you don't have to. A few easy tips can get your space looking clean and beautiful.
The first thing that I did was access what cables/cords were there and if we needed all of them. We did need everything there so the second thing I did was zip-tie them together behind the middle of the base of the TV. The base of the TV hides the first set of zip-ties.
Next, I hunted the house for a wall-mounted multiple prong outlet. I found one in our master bedroom. Up there, you can't see underneath the dresser because it sits close to the ground so it was a perfect place to trade them out. I zip-tied more cables together, making sure that I didn't pull them too tight.
After cleaning up the cords, I decided to focus just a bit on decorating the console. I like simplicity, so I stuck with that. I do think adding a bit on both sides of the TV help balance and distract the eye.
